Weekend Recap | Tunes on the Lawn

This past Saturday, Mikko put on its second Tunes on the Lawn, an afternoon of live music on our front steps, featuring local musicians and plenty of iced coffee. It was a wonderful turnout, friends came by with blankets and enjoyed the summer sun for an hour or two or three. Haut et Fort | Celebrating Local Designers

Last Saturday, we made our way into Montreal to check out Design Haut et Fort, or in English, Loud & Clear, a 3 day design market, this year hosted at Concordia University, celebrating Quebec's talented designers & crafts people. In it's fourth year, the event, imagined and organized by Montreal designer Anne Thomas, is hosted twice annually and features beautiful handmade products like ceramics, furniture, home ware, fashion accessories, illustrated stationery & prints, and more.
